Analitika Expo 2019: An exposition involving 230 companies from 24 countries

The 17th International Exhibition for Laboratory Equipment and Chemical Reagents — Analitika Expo — will take place at Crocus Expo IEC on 23–26 April 2019. Organised by ITE Group

Analitika Expo 2019 is an efficient business platform, where business and science come together, and participating experts have an opportunity to learn a wide range of modern analytical instruments, to chose equipment, furniture, laboratory glass, and chemical reagents for their lab, to find new suppliers, to meet partners, and to listen to Russian and global experts.

In 2019, the exhibition will be held at a new expo site Crocus Expo IEC with convenient modern infrastructure, comfortable conference halls, recreational zones, and easy accessibility by public transport (the Myakinino metro station has a direct passage way to the expo halls).

Conventionally, the leading laboratory brands participate in the exhibition, namely: Analytik-Jena, Bruker, Fritsch, Lauda, Miele, Rigaku, Sartorius, Shimadzu, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Velder, Metalldesign, Snol-Term, Chromatec, presenting over 230 companies from 24 countries, incl. the recognized leaders of the analytical instrument engineering from Japan, the USA, Austria, Spain, France, and China. For the first time the exhibition is attended by as many as 39 companies.

Analytical instrument engineering is one of the fastest growing industries, which is proven by the high number of new developments displayed annually by Russian and foreign manufacturers at Analitika Expo exhibition.

For instance, InProTech with its key partners from Australia and Germany will participate in the exhibition for the first time. It will demonstrate new in-house sample preparation equipment under EnProTech brand at its expo booth. This lineup has many advantages since all equipment is made based on advanced German technologies and a long-term research of similar product performance indicators with regard to the feedback from technicians.

Vibra Rus, the official representative office of SHINKO DENSHI Co., Ltd. (Japan) in Russia and the CIS, demonstrates a new analytical scale - ViBRA series HT - which is currently a unique product of the kind available on the market. It always ensures high-quality readings, and is extremely reliable and easy-to-use.

AQUAANALYTICS will demonstrate an advanced laboratory water treatment solution developed by Evoqua Water Technologies as the German leading manufacturer, which happens to be exclusive for Russia. Ultra Clear TP TWF is a device generating water of analytical cleanness level from main water, and ensuring the highest quality of generated first-type water beyond all quality standards.

Donau Lab. Moscow will exhibit a new model of NIR analyser ProxiMate by BUCHI Labortechnik as a Swiss manufacturer. This is a reliable, small-sized and easy-to-use instrument that may be applied close to a production line.

Chromatech will demonstrate a vacuum ultraviolet detector made by VUV Analytics, and hold presentations of group-type analysis of hydrocarbons in a fuel (PIONA) in line with ASTM D8071 using a gas chromatograph with a vacuum ultraviolet detector.

This year, new sections to be introduced in 2020 will be announced at Analitika Expo 2019, namely: “Biotechnological Equipment” and “Instrumentation”.

Scientific and Business Agenda

The scientific and business agenda comprises events of various topics and formats for analysts from various industries. The Scientific Council on Analytical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Society for Mass Spectrometry, Analitika Analytical Centres Association, and the Skolkovo Foundation's advanced production technologies cluster will act as partners to the business agenda. Visitors are free to attend any events at no charge by just showing their ticket to the exhibition.

This year, visitors will be able to attend a range of new professional events, such as workshops on non-invasive laboratory diagnostics or analysis of mineral raw materials, as well as a discussion of developing, manufacturing and launching analytical instruments to the market. A workshop on laboratory accreditation held by experts from Analitika Analytical Centres Association has become a conventional event of the exhibition, which is of utmost importance amid introduction of a new version of ISO 17025:2017. Specialists from VIALEK Group will hold educational workshops for pharmaceutical industry workers for the second year in a row.

Separation Science Days, a three-day congress, will become the key event on the agenda for 2019, where over 25 leading Russian scientists will present their research results. Each day of the congress will target a certain aspect of the separation sciences. The congress is organized in cooperation with the Russian Society for Mass Spectrometry and the A. Frumkin Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Advanced applications of mass spectrometry in various industries (petrochemistry, food industry, forensic medicine, and medicine) will be the key topic of day one. Particularly, A. Lebedev (PhD in Chemistry, M. Lomonosov Moscow State University), R. Borisov (Cand. Sc. in Chemistry, A. Topchiev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis), E. Brodsky (PhD in Chemistry, A. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences), S. Savchuk (PhD in Chemistry, Russian Center of Forensic Medical Expertise of the Ministry of Health) will hold reports.

Conventional separation sciences will be the key topic of day two named “Separation Science: Advanced Applications”. R. Khamizov (PhD in Chemistry, V. Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences) will hold a plenary report on the modern aspects of Separation Science, while K. Eller (PhD in Chemistry, Federal Research Center of Nutrition, Biotechnology and Food Safety) and V. Sidelnikov (PhD in Chemistry, Institute of Catalysis of the Siberian Department of the Russian Academy of Sciences) will hold reports. A wide range of specialists, incl. from the food and pharmaceutical industries, will be interested in the agenda of the day.

Physical chemistry topics will be the pillar of day three, which will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the A. Frumkin Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Laboratory managers of the institute will present their performance results and future researches to be held by the institute within a short-term perspective. The topics on the agenda of day three of the congress comprise electron-beam conversion, thermonuclear materials science, corrosion protection, protective metal coatings, sodium-ion batteries, and new polymeric materials in medicine and biology.

The last day of the exhibition will target professionals of the future the Young Specialist’s Day will be held on 26 April for the first time ever. Students and schoolchildren of over 20 educational institutions, incl. M. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, etc., are invited to participate in it. Scientists and practitioners will hold lectures for professionals of the future, and Aleksandr Ivanov, the author and vlogger of Khimiya Prosto Youtube channel and moderator of Nauka TV channel. A round table focused on the issues of professional training of higher school and colleague professors. Moreover, a VR zone will be open for visitors of the exhibition on 26 April, where they will be able to try certain topics of the laboratory practicum in the virtual realty.

Furthermore, visitors may take part in practical workshops and equipment presentation held by expo participants.
